I love Patsy expression, like WTH?
Then she becomes, suddenly, resolute and says definitively “It is a miracle that I can walk at all! I bless the wonder of life and the newness of living.”
At first I thought “Tart” then I remembered that later on one of the nurses refer to Patsy as “that old SLAG from the papers…” and since it is a Brit-Com it could be one of those… So jetsetbri is probably right.
Somewhere around 1998 I’d met up with a friend (love of my life, actually) that I hadn’t seen in 4 YEARS. We only had ONE day together, and then he was gone again. During a pause in my flash flood of tears I went to the video store, looking for comedy to cheer me up. I’d never heard of AB FAB, and no one recommended it to me, just happened to see it on the shelf. I’d had PROZAC and didn’t feel anywhere near as good as I did when Eddy said to Saffy “Be nice to mama, sweetie…”

hell yea.. i fall asleep every night with this playin wake up it’s still on.. golen girls was my #1 sitcom but ab fab definately took 1st place over it.. best sitcom EVERRRRRRRRR..lol

This is not unusual in London town houses. There is often an “upper ground” floor with front door and also a “lower ground” looking into a light well at the front, sunken to below footpath level but somewhat set back away from the footpath and also protected by railings.

I purchased every season on disk from Circuit City. My mom and I have the best time, with our popcorn and the ladies. It’s the funnest watching the changes. Saf pregnant, the PA as a business woman, the house changes.. great!
